»Das Dschungelbuch« (Volume 1 from 1894 + Volume 2 from 1895) by British author Rudyard Kipling is staged in 15 booklets. »Das Dschungelbuch«, which consists of a collection of stories and poems, is separated from its traditional book form and each chapter is assigned to a booklet. The cover design is based on the technique of frottage. The resulting abstract, organic forms should be based on the organizational structures and jungle laws that the jungle dwellers have to deal with.
